Rolandine Vaughan, PA-C, MPAS, is a dedicated physician associate with nearly two decades of experience in emergency and urgent care medicine. She is the Owner and Medical Director of Virtual Urgent Care (VUC), where her mission is to provide compassionate, patient-focused care for non-emergent medical concerns through both medicinal and preventative approaches.
Rolandine began her journey in healthcare after graduating from the University of Georgia in 2002 with a major in Cellular Biology Pre-Medicine and a minor in Nutrition Science. She spent four years as a Nutritionist at Grady Memorial Hospital before earning her Master’s in Physician Associate Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2008. Her career has been shaped by a commitment to addressing patients’ needs with empathy and attentiveness.
After years of working as a healthcare provider, Rolandine observed a troubling shift in the healthcare industry —one where business priorities often overshadowed genuine patient care. She founded VUC to restore what she believes healthcare should be: ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered. At VUC, every patient is treated with the time and care they deserve, ensuring their medical concerns are addressed with professionalism and humanity.
