Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about using MyVirtualUrgentCare.

What conditions can Virtual Urgent Care treat?

We treat a variety of non-emergent conditions, such as colds, flu, allergies, minor infections, rashes, and more. For a complete list, visit our Services page.

We do not treat emergencies like chest pain, severe injuries, or life-threatening conditions. If you’re experiencing an emergency, call 911 or visit the nearest ER.

Schedule your appointment, complete intake forms, and join your visit through a secure link to speak with our trusted provider. It’s easy, efficient, and patient-focused.

If testing or a specialist is needed, we’ll guide you on the next steps.

Our self-pay virtual visit is $75 with no extra fees. This fee covers your consultation, diagnosis, education, prescriptions sent to your preferred pharmacy (if necessary), and work or school excuse notes.

Currently, we do not accept insurance. However, you may use your insurance for prescribed medications or testing at external facilities.

You can use any device with a camera and internet connection, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

If you experience technical issues, don’t worry—your provider will call you to continue the consultation.

Appointments must be canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled time to avoid a no-show fee or to qualify for a refund.

Unfortunately, missed appointments are non-refundable. Please contact us if you’d like to reschedule.

While we aim to provide continuity of care, follow-up visits depend on provider availability. We’ll ensure your records are accessible for seamless care.
